We Are common law students of the University of Ottawa who promote environmental law, implement environmental change, and stimulate the discussion of environmental law issues.

Environmental issues cross jurisdictions, evolve rapidly, and are value-laden.  The challenge to Law Schools and their students is to examine these issues critically, and provide insight as to the ways in which the law can offer solutions.  This is a complex task.  Our approaches have been diverse and continually changing; among other things, we have hosted expert speakers from a breadth of environmental law fields, established coordinated programs for a more sustainable University and raised awareness of environmental issues through student events.
